Plan for 30 minutes for your chemical peel.
Avoid sunburn before your peel. Avoid active ingredients such as retinol or hydroquinone for several days beforehand as recommended by your provider. Contraindicated in pregnancy. You must be off of Accutane for 6 months.
You will receive printed instructions and an after care kit that includes cleanser and sunscreen. Avoid sun exposure, excessive sweating for 1 week. You can apply makeup the next day after your chemical peel. Most people will experience some peeling days 3-5 or so after the chemical peel.
